About the event

This workshop will focus on emerging research directions that align with the Institute’s five themes of Fidelity & Variation, Fitness & Optimization, Information Processing, Learning & Adaptation, and Prediction & Anticipation. Each day will feature speaker talks in the morning, posters and lightning talks by students and postdocs over a catered lunch, and an afternoon spent digging more deeply into understanding the big questions and the shape of new research directions. Applications to the workshop are now being accepted through January 31, 2024. Applicants for this workshop will be selected based on their interest in research at the intersection of biological and mathematical sciences. This workshop has a limited capacity of 50 people and only local applicants applying prior to Feburary 15th at 5:00 PM are being considered at this time.
