Title: To what extend deep neural networks learn the same thing?
Feihong Xu is a PhD candidate in the Amaral Lab at Northwestern University. Her research develops trustworthy ML methods for multimodal healthcare data (EHR + omics + imaging), with emphasis on robustness, generalization, and interpretability. She collaborates with clinicians and researchers to translate methods into real-world hospital settings. She’s broadly interested in interdisciplinary approaches that integrate deep learning theory, neuroscience, and biomedical applications to create reliable, interpretable AI systems.
