Title: Biological oscillator designs that allow growth-independent period
Members of the NITMB community are invited to join us for Research-In-Progress meetings, an informal venue for members of the NITMB to discuss ongoing and/or planned research.
Yujia Liu is a PhD student in the Rust group at the University of Chicago. Liu is broadly interested in biological oscillations, using the cyanobacteria circadian clock as a model system. Specifically, Liu’s research focuses on the behavior of the circadian oscillator when it is driven off the limit cycle, e.g., by growth or changes in temperature.
