Overview

This workshop is a collaboration between NITMB and the American Institute of Mathematics (AIM)

Mathematical modeling provides a powerful framework to integrate experimental data, identify key mechanisms underlying the immune response, and guide therapeutic strategies. This workshop, sponsored by AIM, will be devoted to developing and analyzing mathematical models that describe the complex interactions between tumors and the immune system, with an emphasis on improving the design and efficacy of cancer immunotherapies. The goal is to bring together mathematicians, biologists, and clinicians to collaborate on problems at the interface of mathematics, oncology, and immunology. Participants will explore how mathematical analysis and computation can advance our understanding of tumor–immune dynamics across multiple spatial and temporal scales and inform the development of personalized cancer treatments.
